Ongata Works was established in 1987 by its Managing Director, Mr. G.G. Wambugu, who has over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry.  Its key business is construction in the Building and Civil Engineering sectors, mainly Roads, Bridges, Dams, Buildings (Industrial, Commercial, Residential including renovations, partition & rehabilitation works), Petrol Stations, Sewage Systems and general physical infrastructure and hiring of Plant, Lorries and Prime Movers.

The Town Office is located at Anniversary Towers 14th floor.  The company has developed a complex at Kasarani away from rented office premises.  The new Complex features executive offices, which are fully computerized and equipped, a modern workshop facility, warehouse and equipment yard.
